Lloyd Fryer and marina sailing

A huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this weekend's sailing, it started on Friday evening, loading dinghies for marina sailing on Saturday which despite very changeable winds went well, a well attended club sail on Saturday, and a successful Lloyd Fryer race on Sunday, below has been sent to local papers.

Portishead Yacht and Sailing Club (PYSC) hosted their annual Lloyd Fryer memorial race on Sunday 16 September, sailing conditions were tricky with a gusty southerly wind, ten dinghies took to the water, Nick Noble in his contender won the race.
This is the 25th anniversary of this race, every year the club donates the entry fee and donations from club members to a local cancer charity, this year Weston Hospicecare were our charity, a cheque for £300 was presented.
