Dinner Dance, Working Parties, and more

The annual dinner, dance and prize giving was enjoyed by all, our Guest, Will Rhodes, commodore of Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club gave a very informative talk, BCYC have also experiencing a drop in members, it seems a common problem for many sailing clubs.
The winter working parties are well under way, Paul Murphy is leading the working parties, please volunteer to put your name to the list of jobs to be done, or just turn up on a Sunday morning to get stuck in.
Steve Gill is consulting with the local council ref closure of the cliff path so as we can reduce the angle of the ramp leading to and from the bridge to C4, many hands will be required once we have a plan in place for this.
Tracey Fowler, editor of 'The Resident' will be doing a feature on the club in the near future, this will be followed up with other articles throughout the year.
There are various other socials planned through out the year, keep your eyes on the notice boards and web site for more info.
Dave Herbert.
