Mark your boats, trolleys and trailers

It helps the smooth running of our club if boats, trolleys and road trailers are annotated with the member's name. Trolleys should also be annotated with your sail number.

This is good because:

........It helps get the correct trolley brought down the slip

........It prevents good stuff being thrown away with the rubbish*

........A tidy compound containing only identified stuff means more boat space for new members

It's in our Compound Rules (see the Notice Board in the clubhouse)

* We will be carrying out an audit shortly.  Unidentified and unpaid for kit is likely to become a candidate for scrapping.  Please shout/admit if you want to claim ownership

Helping you mark your stuff:

Road Trailers and Trolleys:

Clean the metal surface and use paint directly, or attach a robust indelibly annotated label.

A boat marked on its transom is good as it can be identified without removing the cover. Alternatively, attach a robust indelibly annotated label on the cover.

It really is easy:

See Christine Jarvis if you need assistance with labels.
